The short answer
Check an Umrah visa on Saudi Arabia's KSA Visa tracker with the visa or application number and your passport number, or print it from MOFA's Print Visa page, which Nusuk itself points pilgrims to. If Nusuk shows Fingerprint Required, enrol fingerprints in the Visa Bio app; Consular Visit Required means taking your passport to the Saudi consulate.

Key takeaways
- Ordinary Umrah visas are issued through Nusuk and authorised agents, so your agency or your Nusuk account holds the application.
- Nusuk's own help centre sends pilgrims to MOFA's Print Visa page to print the official visa.
- Fingerprint Required means biometrics through the Visa Bio app; Consular Visit Required means an in-person visit with your passport.
- The Umrah visa is not available from 15 Dhul Qa'dah to 15 Dhul Hijjah, the Hajj season.
- A visa you cannot find on KSA Visa or the MOFA print page does not exist, whatever the agent's screenshot shows.
An Umrah visa check takes a minute once you have the visa or application number from your agency. Saudi Arabia issues ordinary Umrah visas through Nusuk, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's platform, and through authorised agents, while the visa record itself sits with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). This guide shows where to look, what the Nusuk status words mean, which dates trip pilgrims up and how to spot an agent selling a visa that does not exist.
How do you check an Umrah visa online?
Enter the visa or application number and your passport number on the KSA Visa track application page, MOFA's new visa platform; Umrah appears there as one of the visa types. To print the visa, Nusuk's help centre gives MOFA's Print Visa page, where two values such as passport number and visa number, plus your nationality, bring up the visa. If you booked a package yourself, your Nusuk Umrah account also shows the booking and any visa status.
Who applied for your Umrah visa?
KSA Visa's Umrah page says regular Umrah is done through Nusuk and authorised agents, and that Umrah Al-Mujamala, applied for directly with MOFA, is for people who already have prior approval from the embassy. For most pilgrims from Bangladesh that means a travel agency filed the visa as part of a package. Before you pay, ask the agency three things in writing:
- The Nusuk service provider or package it is booking you on, which you can compare with the Service Providers list on Nusuk Umrah.
- The application number once it files, and the visa number once it is issued.
- The group number and travel dates, so you can match them against the visa's validity.
Checking and printing your Umrah visa, step by step
- 1
Get your numbers
Ask the agency for the application or visa number. Keep your passport beside you; the visa is tied to that passport's number.
- 2
Open KSA Visa's tracker
Type
ksavisa.sa/track-application. Enter the application or visa number in the first box and your passport number in the second. - 3
Solve the captcha and track
Press Track my application. The result reads Approved, In Progress or Rejected, and View Full Details shows the visa number, reference number and print date.
- 4
Open the visa
For an approved visa, use View Visa or Resend by Email to get the visa document.
- 5
Or print from MOFA
On
visa.mofa.gov.sa/visaservices/searchvisa, choose Passport Number and Visa Number as the two values, select Bangladesh as nationality, solve the captcha and print. - 6
Check the printout
Compare your name, passport number, date of birth and visa dates with your passport and your package dates before paying the balance or flying.
What does Fingerprint Required or Consular Visit Required mean?
Fingerprint Required means you must give your fingerprints through the Visa Bio app before the visa procedure can finish. Consular Visit Required means you must take your passport to the Saudi consulate in your country of residence to complete the issue. Both definitions come from Nusuk's help centre, and neither is a refusal; they are steps you have to complete.
| Status | Where you see it | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fingerprint Required | Nusuk | Biometric fingerprints are needed through the Visa Bio app | Install the Visa Bio app from your phone's official store and enrol as instructed |
| Consular Visit Required | Nusuk | You must visit the Saudi consulate with your passport | Contact your agency for the consulate's procedure and go with your passport |
| In Progress | KSA Visa tracker | The visa application is in progress | Wait; check again after the agency confirms filing |
| Approved | KSA Visa tracker | The visa has been issued | View and print it, then check every detail |
| Rejected | KSA Visa tracker | The visa application has been rejected | Ask the agency for the reason before booking anything else |
| Expired or Cancelled | KSA Visa | The visa can no longer be used | A new visa is needed; ask whether your package can be rebooked |
Dates that catch pilgrims out
- The Hajj season gap. KSA Visa says the Umrah visa is available all year except from 15 Dhul Qa'dah to 15 Dhul Hijjah. A trip planned across those dates needs rethinking.
- Validity and stay. KSA Visa lists a single-entry Umrah visa as valid for 90 days with a stay of up to 90 days, and a multiple-entry visa as valid for one year with stays of up to 90 days. Nusuk adds that the stay follows the issued visa dates and your package.
- No Hajj on an Umrah visa. The same page says holders cannot perform Hajj on this visa.
- Free movement. You can travel between cities in Saudi Arabia during an Umrah stay, according to KSA Visa.
Agencies that send Umrah groups every month have dozens of visa numbers, fingerprint steps and travel dates moving at once. Agencies that prepare files properly use software like Visolv to track every client's file and send status updates through the agency's own client portal and WhatsApp. It does not query Nusuk or MOFA by itself: a caseworker checks the official pages and records what they say, so each pilgrim sees the status the ministry shows.
Why your Umrah visa does not show up
- The agency has not filed yet, or the group visa is still in progress. Ask for the application number first.
- Wrong pairing on the print page: MOFA's Print Visa page needs two values plus nationality, not a passport number alone.
- A renewed passport: the visa was issued on the passport number the agency submitted.
- Nationality: choose Bangladesh from the list, even if you live in another country.
- Spelling in First Name searches: if you use first name as a value, spell it exactly as on the passport.
Umrah visa scams to watch for
Umrah draws first-time travellers and older pilgrims, which makes it a favourite for fraud. KSA Visa's own advice is to contact MOFA through its official channels and avoid unauthorised individuals or companies. In practice that means a few firm rules.
- Check that your agency's package or provider appears on Nusuk Umrah before paying the full amount.
- Do not accept a visa as a WhatsApp picture. Search the visa number on KSA Visa with your own passport number.
- Ignore Facebook pages that check Umrah visas for a fee or ask for a photo of your passport; the checks are free.
- Nusuk's support channels are live chat on its site, [email protected] and the call centre listed in its help centre.
Before you fly
Carry the printed visa with your passport, and keep the visa number and your agency's contact on your phone. Match the visa's dates to your flights and hotel nights. If Nusuk showed Fingerprint Required, make sure the Visa Bio step is complete well before departure, not on the day.
For work and visit visas to Saudi Arabia, our Saudi visa check guide covers KSA Visa and the retired Enjaz address in more depth, and the visa check by passport number hub lists every country's official portal. Agency owners can see how a tracked file works in our visa agency software guide. For your Umrah, trust only what KSA Visa and MOFA show.
Frequently asked questions
How can I check my Umrah visa online?
Go to ksavisa.sa/track-application, enter your visa or application number and your passport number, solve the captcha and press Track my application. The result shows Approved, In Progress or Rejected. To print the visa, use MOFA's Print Visa page at visa.mofa.gov.sa/visaservices/searchvisa, which Nusuk's help centre recommends for printing the official visa.
Can I check my Umrah visa by passport number only?
Not on its own. The KSA Visa tracker needs the visa or application number with your passport number, and MOFA's Print Visa page needs two values, such as passport number and visa number, plus your nationality. Ask your agency for the visa or application number in writing; you are entitled to it, and it is the only way to verify the visa yourself.
What does Fingerprint Required mean on my Umrah visa?
Nusuk's help centre says Fingerprint Required means you must enter your biometric fingerprints through the Visa Bio app to complete the visa procedures. It is not a refusal. Install the Visa Bio app from your phone's official app store, follow the enrolment steps, and confirm with your agency or Nusuk that the status has moved on before you travel.
Can I get an Umrah visa during the Hajj season?
No. KSA Visa states that the Umrah visa is available throughout the year except during the Hajj season, from 15 Dhul Qa'dah to 15 Dhul Hijjah. It also says you cannot perform Hajj on an Umrah visa. Plan Umrah trips outside that window, and check the dates on your visa against your flights before you pay.
How do I know if my Umrah agency is genuine?
Ask which Nusuk package or service provider it is booking you on and compare it with the Service Providers list on umrah.nusuk.sa. Ask for the application number once it files and check it on KSA Visa yourself. Be wary of agencies that refuse to share numbers, promise visas in hours for cash, or send only pictures of a visa.
How long can I stay in Saudi Arabia on an Umrah visa?
KSA Visa lists a single-entry Umrah visa as valid for 90 days with a stay of up to 90 days, and a multiple-entry visa as valid for a year with stays of up to 90 days. Nusuk says your stay follows the issued visa dates and your selected package, and cannot exceed 90 days. Check the dates printed on your own visa.
